Base prices are based upon a character with 1 to 2 colors, a default of black lining, and little to no markings.

Almost all aspects of the suits are machine washable. This may depend on the suit and the features, but a custom washing manual is sent with each fursuit.

1. Contract
Only people above the age of 18 can order from The Goth Bear. Parents/guardians may commission on behalf of their child. This is due to our payment method does not allow for minors to have an account, and for the potential for growing out of the fursuit.
Anything agreed upon in messages is binding the contract.
Commissioning or purchasing from The Goth Bear means you agree to all conditions on this page.2. Measurements
Measurements are required for every part order. However, both plantigrade and digitigrade bodysuits require a duct tape dummy (or D.T.D for short).Click on this for the video that shows how it should be done. Other methods of dummies being done may not be accepted.
Note - you do not need to stuff the D.T.D. as you're just shipping it out anyway. It's cheaper and easier to leave it not stuffed. Do not cover holes like the head opening. You would also need to do your whole body besides the head and hands. If you plan to have multiple wearers, it is best to make a D.T.D. and measurements of the larger wearer.The Goth Bear is not responsible for parts that do not fit when given incorrect measurements or an improper dummy. It is recommended to not commission if you plan to lose or gain weight so the costume still fits until post weight gain/loss.3. Payments
The Goth Bear takes both payment plans and takes full payment. Please discuss with The Goth Bear to see how you would like to sort out payments. All payments are taken via PayPal invoicing.
We do not take payment plans on parts under $1,000 or projects with deadlines (see section 8 for Deadlines). They must be paid in full. Parts $1,000 to $5,000 must be paid off within 3 months. Anything over $5,000 must be paid off within 4 months. Late payments may result in a later completion date.
Payment plan schedule can be negotiable as long as it is within the time threshold. Materials will not be ordered until 50% paid. Progress will not be started until the fursuit is paid off.4. Shipping
The Goth Bear is not responsible for any items lost in the shipping process as the package will no longer be in our hands. This includes if the client chooses to have it shipped somewhere that is not their own residence. We do put insurance on the packages upon request. We are also not responsible for shipping costs. All items, both domestic and international, are shipped via USPS.
Domestic clients will have the choice between Ground and Priority USPS. International will automatically be shipped with Priority USPS.
Shipping costs may have to be calculated after purchase for an accurate price. This will be made clear with the client if this is a necessary measure.5. Cancellations/Refunds
*Please avoid canceling at all costs!As materials are expensive and take up the majority of the costs, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund for everything. We do not offer refunds for small parts (tails, handpaws, feetpaws) due to the short amount of time it takes for those to be completed.
As for all other parts, 30% of the price cannot be refunded if materials were already ordered and the fursuit itself was not started. Once work is started, refunds cannot be provided.6. Returns
The Goth Bear does not take returns for suits, commissions or premades. However, any necessary refurbishments and repairs are available. (Refer to the "Repairs" section if you need anything repaired.)7. Repairs
The Goth Bear will take small repairs for fursuits as long as shipping is paid for. This includes popped or ripped seams. A costume refurbishment will cost much more and will vary based on what needs to be done on the costume. Ask The Goth Bear about refurbishments, as price varies per what needs changed. Less drastic repairs are covered under our warranty for the first six months.8. Deadlines
The Goth Bear can work with most deadlines, however will not be guaranteed unless a rush fee is paid. We will need a warning ahead of time. These are the times that will be needed corresponding to the costume part order. The costume also must be fully paid for.Heads, handpaws, feetpaws, tails: Two months in advance
Bodysuits or fullsuits: Three months in advanceDepending on how close or far the deadline is, rush orders will come at an extra cost. If the deadline was not fufilles and you were charged a fee, you will be refunded the fee cost. Deadlines without rush fees will not be guaranteed completion by that date.9. Character Concept Art
The Goth Bear requires a digital copy of the concept art of your character/costume/prop. We may need multiple angles on your concept, depending on how complex the design is. Most designs will require 2-3, especially if it is a more complex character. If you do not have a reference, you can commission The Goth Bear for one. If you need one, discuss this with The Goth Bear. All details about the costume should be on the reference sheet so nothing is missed.The Goth Bear is also willing to create a design (also may be referred to as "artistic liberty" work) if you do not have one in mind. You're free to leave a description of what you want such as colors or patterns.10. Design Changes
We heavily refrain from changing anything big from the original design. We do allow small changes. For example, adding a couple more stripes on the fursuit than originally planned. However, we are free to change the original quoted price. Please get the reference sheet corrected if you need something changed as mistakes can be made OR make it very clear when filling out the quote form. Please warn before materials are ordered. More drastic changes such as new colors cannot be made after materials are ordered. If a client fails to make the necessary changes on the reference sheet, additional changes can be declined if there was no prior warning.
If a reference sheet fails to have certain details and we are not informed of the differences, we are not responsible for leaving those things out.We will send you many photos and ask if you would like changes before moving forward with the process. If the commissioner says they are fine with how everything looks and want things changed later on, it will not be fixed as it was approved at an earlier time. Due to this, if something needs redone all together, The Goth Bear is allowed to refuse the request or charge extra.11. Responsibility
The Goth Bear is not responsible for the actions of previous buyers of our fursuits. It is now an item in their possession and does not reflect on our actions. We also reserve the right to decline if we suspect you have a poor history, online or offline.

-The Goth Bear reserves the right to deny taking on an art commission for any reason. This mostly includes: Gore, NSFW, political ideologies/statements, hateful themes, drug usage
-No requests for art in another artist's style.
-No copyrighted franchises that do not allow fanart to be commissioned.
-Any finished art can be posted by me at any point. Clients can share the art as well with credit along with the watermarked version. This also includes when making it one's profile picture.
-Changes can be refused to be made if they were features approved previously, or can be charged extra for.
-Any work for commercial or profit usage needs to be discussed before commissioning.
-No deadlines will be taken at this time, but turnaround time tends to be within one week.
-No refunds after the work is started.No quote form for art commissions, as they're a more straight forward process. Just send a message on social media!
By filling out this form, you understand and agree with TGB Terms of Service and starting prices. This does not guarantee any sort of spot within the queue, or that the character will be taken on as a projectOther things of note:
-Do not send NSFW reference sheets. I do not want to see them and this does go on a publicly available queue for any age to see.
-No AI artwork. It is unethical and likely inconsistent, which makes it harder to work with.
-For artistic liberty work, please contact me directly instead of using this form.
-If anything is going to differ from the reference sheet provided, please note such or provide an updated one.
-TGB reserves the right to refuse a design for any reason.
